Carl Sundberg is the Founder of Stonemonk Media.
He lives in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon with his wife, Kea and their golden retriever, Odin. Born and raised in Florida, he has called Oregon home since 1993.
In 2004, he graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) on the Dean's List with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Minor in Business Administration. He was a Media Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution from 2017-2018 and a recipient of The William Randolph Hearst Journalism Awards for Editorial Writing in 2004.
Before launching Stonemonk Media in 2021, Carl's impressive career in the media spanned over two decades and took him from Slash's tour bus to the East Room of the White House. He is a seasoned front-end web developer, social and email marketing strategist, award-winning writer, professional musician, producer and digital content expert.
Carl has been on the cutting edge of digital marketing since the late 90s, embracing new technologies as they emerged, from AOL to AI. With that experience, a relentless curiosity and a tenacity for excellence, he has held several executive, director and upper management positions throughout his career.
